2. APPROVAL OF February 2025 MINUTES – Vickie Getz
Amanda Pfhal made the motion to accept the minutes from February.

3. TREASURER REPORT – Denise Klag
Denise reported that we have $21,648 in checking and $23,000 for Buzzard
Day. The Bank Statement is always available to see.
4. COMMITTEE REPORTS
A. Membership: Annetherese Biesiada & Mark Staron –
Annetherese reported the committee met and created a chamber brochure, which she passed around, and they are working on new sticker decals & renewal letters.
Membership is meeting on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at Foster’s at 6:30. If you would like to join them.

Membership dues and applications are due Now.

B. Hinckley Greeters: Heather Liccardi –
Please bring business cards and/or information to be added to the Foster Pizza Boxes to Heather. They will be starting back up in the Spring. Please bring business cards and/or information to be added to the Foster Pizza Boxes to Heather. They are taking a break until Spring.
C. Scholarship: Laura Baciu-
They will be meeting at Coco Café and finalizing their Rubric.
D. Donations: Eric Lucius – No report
E. Citizen of the Year: Melissa Augustine-
There were flyers on the sign-in table. March 15 is the deadline for applications.
Monique Ascherl said the current Citizen of the Year and the plaque with all the names of the Citizens of the Year will be displayed on the wall in the meeting room. They are remodeling Town Hall and planning on putting a timeline and map of the last 200 years for the Bicentennial on the wall in the hallway. The pictures of all the Citizens of the Year were removed. The Chamber pays for all the pictures, frames and plaques and would like to have them returned. There was a discussion. Monique invited anyone to attend a trustee meeting and bring your thoughts.
5. SPOTLIGHTING OUR MEMBERS
Tristan with Farming with Friends was our speaker. He and Melanie have 4
children. Their daughter Scout was the inspiration for Farming with Friends.

3. Community Engagement-Churches & Business Organizations volunteer
They started in Hinckley but have moved to Bath and partnered with Old Trail School and another Mystery partner. The business address will be in Hinckley. They will have Eggs, Chicken, Turkey, Lamb, Vegetables. Flowers & Merchandise available at Farmers Markets & the School.
Mark your calendar for Fun on the Farm on Saturday, October 4, 2025. It is an all-ability inclusive event.
George Hoose from Edward Jones said diversification is important right now and to focus on the long term. Know when and where to put your money when the market is down. Stick to your plan and don’t use emotions to make decisions.
6. Old Business
A. Buzzard Sunday-Sunday, March 16, 2025 –
The following dates are the planning meetings at Foster’s Tavern at 5:30pm
- March 12, 2025
- March 26, 2025 (Debriefing meeting for Buzzard Sunday)
25 Adult & 10 children’s breakfasts have been sold so far along with 87 boxes of sausages along with 5 for the golf outing.
Hinckley Preparatory Academy will be closed on Friday, March 14, 2025, so we will be able to set up earlier.
Thursday or Friday set up tents and the gym.
Friday set up grills, deliveries, signage, etc.
Planning for 1,500 people. The school will keep the extra milk & juice.
The ovens are working
Chamber Businesses will be given a free spot in one of the classrooms for advertising their business. You must bring your own table & chair and handouts. Let Alison Kuzma know if you want a table so she can reserve the space.

We need Raffle baskets. They can be dropped off at S&S Heating, Cooling & Sheet Metal.
B. 2nd Annual Golf Outing-Friday, May 16, 2025, at Valleaire Golf &
Event Center (8:00am-4:30pm)-

C. 5K Run – (around Hinckley’s Bicentennial)-No report.
D. Hinckley Holidays – Saturday, December 2025 (6:00pm-8:00pm)-No report
E. Hometown Heroes - Monique Ascherl said the utility poles couldn’t be used for the banners per Hinckley’s zoning code. The trustees had discussed using a military garden banner and displaying them at Veterans Memorial Park (killed in action only), Town Hall & the Historical Society. Using the utility poles was tabled for now.
7. New Business
A. Website-
The website has been updated and will be up and running soon.
8. Announcements-
Mark mentioned the idea of ‘Welcome to Hinckley’ Signs. He would be looking for input later.
