    We are your local library since 2008. We serve Hinckley, Granger and Sharon townships.

    There are eleven staff members.

    Eric lives in Medina, has five cats and is musician.

    He has worked at Highland since October 2020 and has been with the library since 2004.

    Annetherese lives in Sharon, has two boys and does upholstery.

    She has worked at Highland since 2013 and had been with the library since 1997.

    My relationship with Edward Jones began as a client, and I transitioned to a financial advisor after selling my business in 2018. Today, Edward Jones serves the Medina community from six convenient locations.

    Originally from Syracuse, NY, with stops along the way in Buffalo, NY, and Philadelphia, PA.
    My family and I have lived in Medina since 2007.

    In our free time, we enjoy traveling, attending Broadway musicals at Playhouse Square, listening to the Cleveland Orchestra at Blossom, attending Cleveland Guardian and Cavalier's games,
    golf, skiing and cooking.

    Restaurant & Bar with great burgers, homemade pizza, comfort foods located in Hinckley for over 35 years. We took ownership in September, 2015. Our staff varies in number from 15-20, including half who have been a part of Foster’s longer than we have, as well as Highland students working their way towards and through college. Our chef Michelle and bar manager Brian are the heart and soul of Foster’s.

    I opened the Amanda Pfahl State Farm Agency in 2006 at the same location it sits today on West 130th Street at what some refer to as Bennett’s Corners. My father (now retired) owned a State Farm agency as well, and from a very young age, I knew that helping people recover from the unexpected and realize their dreams was what I wanted to pursue in my own career. My team of local, licensed professionals along with myself, offer help with the everyday risks you may encounter as well as those that may be unforeseen through personalized insurance and financial services guidance.     My husband Jeremy and I live in Granger with our two children, Graham and Sammy. They attend Granger Elementary and are involved in lots of extra curricular activities that keep us busy! I am also a Trustee for The Highland Foundation for Educational Excellence and Chair the Public Relations Committee. I enjoy cooking and spending time outdoors gardening and we enjoy spending time together as a family traveling and love a good college football game when we get opportunity to watch!

    Founded in 1981-82, HWC members continue to be involved with Hinckley and develop friendships with each other. Membership hovers at around 50. Everyone interested in Hinckley is welcomed. I’ve been Charter President, 2nd Vice Pres (Fund-raising), and am currently Historian.

    I’ve lived in Hinckley since the 1970’s – always on Center Rd. Dennis and I raised our family here.

    I ‘m a retired educator – most of my career I was a Special Education Transition Coordinator specializing in social thinking skills/employability.

    I love water – swimming snorkeling and boating and jet-skiing. I am a Red Cross Water Safety and Lifeguard Instructor Trainer. I also love to travel IF I can learn something along the way. Looking back, I’ve taken a whole lot of biking vacations, all over the world. I get involved in things I like.

    Currently, besides HWC and HCC Secretary, I am Advisory Board Member of Friends of Richfield Heritage Preserve, REDCOAT and Tour Guide at Playhouse Square, Tour Manager for NOWAK Tours (I take 8th graders to DC), past Secretary of Rocky River Watershed Council.

    In 2022 I was honored to be selected as Hinckley Citizen of the Year. Bucket List – to keep learning new skills! Life Changing and Cherished Events: Family – Our son Keith, his wife Pam, and each of our 5 grandchildren – the youngest was born on our 50th wedding anniversary!

We host several parties throughout the year in our backyard including entertainment on our outdoor stage. We look forward to spending our lives surrounded by nature in beautiful Hinckley!

    My wife Lynn and I along with our dog Diesel moved to Hinckley in January 2021. We have 4 children that are all out of the house and living on their own…with the exception of our youngest daughter who is in her second year of collage at KENT. We moved to Hinckley for its home town atmosphere and its rural life style. The reason for our move was to down size now that we are empty nesters. But thank goodness we still have extra space for our four grandchildren. Its great to have a great location to enjoy with our growing family.
