He hasn’t built a stairway to heaven, but he makes any ascent more dazzling. Tim Noonan, owner of Great Lakes Stair & Millwork Co. headquartered in Hinckley, began producing custom staircases for northeast Ohio builders in 1989. Thanks to the internet, his company has grown into a leading stair manufacturer and supplier of stair parts serving clients worldwide.
Picture a Hollywood-style grand entrance as a princess or star descends an ornate staircase and you get the picture for some of Tim’s assignments. He’s worked with local celebrities, as well as millionaires and billionaires across the globe.
The Strongsville High School grad, with a degree in Construction Management from Bowling Green, enjoys the outdoors, snowmobiling in winter and riding his ATV in warmer seasons. Along with wife, Marcy, and children Ava, Carson and Colton, Tim is active with the cub scouts and kid sports.
