Denise said we have $44,024.49 in checking.
4. COMMITTEE REPORTS
Membership: Annetherese Biesiada & Mark Staron –
Membership Presentation Regarding Social Media:
Melissa Augustine explained that if a business would like to have something posted on the Hinckley Chamber website, they need to first post it on their site and message Melissa Augustine, who will share it on the Chamber website.
Greeters: Heather Liccardi – Please bring business cards and/or information to be
added to the Foster Pizza Boxes to Heather. (No Report)
Scholarship: We are looking for someone to chair the Scholarship Committee.
We are looking into having 2 Scholarships: 1 for Trade School and 1 for College/Continuing Ed. The Rubix would have to be changed to support this. Heather Liccardi, Amanda Pfahl & Laura Baciu would like to help with this.
Donations: Eric Lucius – There were no requests.
5. SPOTLIGHTING OUR MEMBERS
Please see Heather Liccardi to be put on the speaker rotation.
6. Old Business
Golf Outing- Recap and Debrief
We made about $4,700. It was a success but we are looking into a speaker system and a new caterer and will open it to 96 golfers to have a smooth flow.
Hinckley Halloween (Trunk or Treat) – Saturday, October 26, 2024 (4:00pm-6:00pm)
We need signs coming into Hinckley to slow the traffic down along with a temporary crosswalk to keep everyone safe.
Hinckley Preparatory Academy will also have something going on that day and the Hinckley Trustees are thinking about doing a movie night that evening.
Planning meetings will be announced.
Hinckley Holiday – December 07, 2024 (6:00pm-8:00pm)
It will take place in the gym at Hinckley Preparatory Academy.
We need more volunteers to help decorate the town center.

7. New Business
5K Run – details to follow.
Honoring Hinckley Veterans – Pictures of our veterans on flags attached to poles sponsored by the Hinckley Chamber. More details are coming.

8. Announcements
Karl Kastl mentioned the fire off 130th at Big 3 Racing in Hinckley and the devastation to the surrounding businesses. He asked if the chamber would pay for pizzas for the businesses while they are cleaning up. Everyone agreed and Karl will handle ordering the pizzas.
Amanda Pfahl is selling Raffle Tickets for the Highland Foundation.
Farming with Friends: Saturday, October 5, 2024-Fun on the Farm (An ability Inclusive Event) 11am-4pm.
Hinckley Bicentennial: Saturday, July 19, 2025
